Welcome to Signal Hill Elementary School Pre-k!

Mrs. Kristen Gray's Class Web Page
Welcome Preschool Parents! Hello Parents! Welcome to our class web page! Please utilize this web page as a tool for providing activities and resources to help your child stay on track while school is not in session.
Click on the links to the left for Useful Links, Files and Documents, Homework, and the Calendar.  The assignments are optional; however, beneficial to your child.  The information will change weekly as the theme changes.  Please text or email me with any questions you might have! My email is grayke@pwcs.edu.

Below you will find a schedule and suggestions of activities that we would complete each day.  I, myself, find this helpful in structuring my own children's home schooling schedule.

I encourage you to play with your child!  This is the MOST important activity you can do with your child.  In fosters social, cognitive, and language development.  Reading is also a great activity to do with your child.  This fosters language and literacy development as well.  Lastly, I encourage you to build in music and movement time. This helps to get the wiggles out and you can utilize this time for language development as well by encouraging your child to make song choices. I included some links to some of our favorite movement songs.
