Our final week of school has begun for the 2019-2020 school year.  This week’s theme is all about summer.  Optional summer activities are placed in the “files and documents” page. There will be our last zoom meeting tomorrow at 11:00 am.   Since teachers are cleaning their classrooms.  We did pack up all the children’s remaining belongings and they are ready for pickup at the school.  You should have received an e-mail from the school regarding pick up times.

Good morning everyone.  I have provided some suggestions for at home learning.

  • Help your child set short-term goals for learning each day.  Use a prompt such as: “My goal for today is to ____.”

  • Set a timer for focused work time.  Here is an optional online “Visual Timer” (https://www.online-stopwatch.com/)

  • Break tasks into smaller parts.  Complete one part at a time.

  • Schedule “brain breaks” and physical movement into the day.   (YouTube videos: “Just Dance for Kids” or “Count to 100 with Spiderman”)

  • Have fun!!!
