We are excited to welcome all of our newest Pandas to Signal Hill Elementary for the 2026–27 school year!

Kindergarten registration is now open. Please review the required documents and information below to help you prepare for a smooth registration process.

Required Documents for Kindergarten Registration

1. School Health Entrance Form

  • Physical examination dated no earlier than August 25, 2025
  • Complete immunization records with all required vaccinations

2. Proof of Residency

Please provide one of the following:

  • Deed or mortgage statement
  • Current rental lease with signature

In addition, please provide two additional residency documents that have been mailed to your home address, such as:

  • Utility bills
  • Voter or vehicle registration
  • Driver’s license with current address
  • Tax documents
  • Bank statements

3. Kindergarten Transportation Form

Please list all individuals who have permission to pick up your child at the bus stop.

After You Submit Your Online Registration

Once you complete the online registration, our Registrar, Mrs. Holden, will contact you to schedule a brief in‑person appointment.
During this appointment, you will:

  • Present your child’s original birth certificate
  • Present a photo ID for the parent/guardian
  • Review and submit any missing documents

Kindergarten Assessment Dates

After completing your online registration, you may sign up for one of three available assessment dates. During this event, you will:

  • Participate in a 15‑minute student assessment with a kindergarten teacher
  • Meet with the registrar to turn in any outstanding documents
  • Present your child’s birth certificate and parent/guardian ID

If you cannot attend one of the assessment dates, don’t worry!
Your child will be assessed at the beginning of the school year.
