My name is Marcie Fields, and I am the proud principal of Signal Hill Elementary School.  This is my thirteenth year as a building principal.  Prior to this principalship, I served in both Stafford County and Spotsylvania County Public Schools.  This past 2021-22 school year,  I came back to Prince William County Public Schools where I began my career, 27 years ago.

Over the course of my career, I have had opportunities to serve as both a Coordinator and Supervisor of Special Education Programming as well as an Assistant Principal and a Special Education Teacher in both the secondary and elementary levels. My passion is to help young people understand that they are valued and that they each have an amazing purpose.

I am blessed to have a supportive husband, three amazing sons, and two precious grandbabies!  My most precious gift is time with them.

My desire is for us to work together as a school and community to help Signal Hill be the very best it can be for student's academic, social, and emotional growth.  I believe that if we ALL Go the Extra Mile and Do what is RIGHT in our HEARTS, TOGETHER we can stay focused on the main thing, our young people!!!!
