Attendance
Understanding the importance of attendance and knowing what resources are available when support is needed is crucial to student success. When students attend school regularly, they actively participate in learning, build valuable life skills, and prepare for future responsibilities, such as work, college, and other commitments.
Supporting positive attendance begins with developing good habits to set the foundation for lifelong learning and success, and continues by closely monitoring attendance to keep students on track through graduation.

How To Report An Absence
To report an absence, please leave a message on our attendance line at 571-358-6677 or email [email protected]
Dismissal Changes
To report a change in dismissal or request an early dismissal, please notify the school by emailing the front office staff at [email protected]. Please do not email teachers directly, as the front office will communicate all dismissal changes to teachers.
All dismissal changes must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. Parents are welcome to pick up their child at any time before 3:00 p.m. to help ensure a smooth and safe dismissal process for all students. At this time, special education and general education buses begin arriving, and the office becomes very busy assisting students.
A photo ID is required when signing your child out at the front office.
Transportation
All bus assignments are available in ParentVUE. Transportation services are managed separately within Prince William County Public Schools. If you have questions or concerns regarding your child’s transportation, please contact the Transportation Department directly at 571-402-3940.
Please note that the school does not receive information regarding bus schedules or delays.
